1. About this policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all use of Kova.

Kova operates under ABN 64 108 741 214.

You must use Kova responsibly, lawfully, and only with data you are authorised to process.

2. Prohibited use

You must not use Kova to:

• break any law or regulation
• infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or contractual rights
• process client data without authorisation
• upload, connect, or submit data you do not have the right to use
• transmit malware, ransomware, spyware, or malicious code
• attack, probe, scan, or test systems without prior written permission from Kova
• attempt to bypass authentication, billing, usage limits, or security controls
• scrape, overload, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Service
• access another user's workspace or data without permission
• use the Service to create deceptive, fraudulent, harmful, or illegal content
• misuse AI features to generate harmful instructions, impersonation, deception, or abusive content
• submit highly sensitive personal information unless authorised and appropriate safeguards are in place

3. Customer and client data

You are responsible for ensuring you have authority to process any data submitted to Kova.

This includes:

• Figma files and client designs
• screenshots and visual assets
• Jira tickets and project data
• comments and annotations
• project documentation and briefs
• contracts and commercial information
• personal information
• confidential information
• third-party intellectual property

If you are an agency or consultant, you are responsible for ensuring your use of Kova complies with your client agreements.

4. Security testing

You must not conduct security testing against Kova without prior written permission.

Responsible disclosure reports should be submitted in accordance with our Responsible Disclosure Policy at www.getkova.co/responsible-disclosure. Reports can also be sent directly to admin@getkova.co.

5. Enforcement

If we believe this policy has been breached, we may:

• warn the user
• suspend access
• disable integrations
• remove content
• restrict usage
• terminate the account
• notify affected parties where appropriate
• report unlawful conduct where required or appropriate
